Team Manager: Peter Dimmock
Peter brings a great depth and breadth of experience in motorsport to the successful management of the Dimmock Racing Team.
Peter has a lengthy involvement in motorsport stretching back to 1982, when he made his rallying debut in a Datsun 1600. He has competed at all levels up to international events. Some highlights include:
- ACT Short Circuit Speedway Champion
- NSW Rally Champion in the over 2 litre class in 1992
- NSW Rallysprint Champion
- 3rd outright in the NSW Rally Championship of 1994
- 7th in the Subaru Rally of Canberra, 1997
Peter’s rally career was characterised by superb driving skills and faultless car preparation. He is a mechanic by trade and owns the Beetle Exchange, a successful motor dealership and Volkswagen restoration specialist in Fyshwick, Canberra.
